English term or phrase: bead core
The tyre comprises at least one carcass ply, the opposite lateral edges of which are associated with respective bead structures comprising at least one bead core and at least one bead filler. The association between the carcass ply and the bead core is achieved here by turning up the opposite lateral edges of the carcass ply around the bead core so as to form the so-called carcass turn-up as shown in the figure.
