Firstly, the premium you pay is a minimum, which means that even if you cancel the policy early, even after a few weeks, you will not get any refund of premium, whether or not you have had a claim. Secondly, the fact that it is a deposit premium, means that when you get to the end of the insurance year and you know the actual turnover and wageroll figures, if these are higher you may need to pay an additional premium.
