  -> Da, acum am înţeles. Din definiţiile din DEX, reiese clar că în limba română aborigen sau băştinaş nu au conotaţii negative. Băştinaşe/aborigene se numesc populaţiile originare de oriunde. Traducerea e în română, nu în engleză. Mulţumesc. :)

bushie este un termen mai informal pentru "bushy" ceea ce inseamna "locuitor al Outback-ului" Este si o expresie "go bush" ceea ce insemna a "trai in zona rurala"; depinde ce decizi:daca nu vei traduce" Outback" cum se pare ca va fi, atunci as fi consecventa " si as zice "outbacker"
Eu stiam de "bush people" inainte de "sapaturile" pentru intrebarile tale.
