Explanation:
Расположение (ферм), а не просто “фермы“.
Дело в том что они сильно и неприятно пахнут и производят много загрязняющих, хм!, субстанций, и поэтому, в наше “продвинутое“ время, их расположение возможно только в специально избранных местах, где они не беспокоют обитателей близлежащих населенных пунктов.

agree  Andrey Svitanko: Я за "расположение ферм", причем "фермы" тут нельзя выкинуть. Можно еще местоположения для ... И уж точно не дислокация, это совсем не по стилю.

  -> Спасибо.Лично я написал бы не“фермы“, а предприятия(т.к. могут быть и не фермы а комбинаты).“Расположение предприятий“-ок.Но можно и “дислокация предприятий для ... или “по“...
