Спасибо! Да, действительно, здесь by pattern - не "кем? чем?" а "по чему? по кому?". Действительно, есть много примеров, где by pattern - по образцу. (Остальные варианты, напр., отраженный, спроецированный, сами напрашиваются, но не увязываются грамматически, получалось бы будто это культура / культурная модель / культурный уклад проецирует или отражает глобализм (тенденцию к глобализму), а по логике не так - кто-то может проецировать культуру на глобализм или глобализм может отражать культуру.)
