English term or phrase: behind and beyond routes
Jedina rečenica u kojoj se ovaj pojam pojavljuje u tekstu koji prevodim ne pruža mnogo informacija:
The air service provider may select up to fifteen behind/beyond routes.
Pojam sam našla još u dva teksta, ali i dalje ne razumem o čemu se radi niti kako se to prevodi.
- Behind and beyond routes (connecting to a trunk route service) – a carrier puts its code on sectors operated by another carrier to provide connections with its own operated services.
- This broadened test includes efficiencies produced on routes related to the route of concern – the so-called "behind and beyond routes" (e.g. Prague-Frankfurt-New York or Frankfurt-New York-Seattle) – provided there is a considerable commonality between passenger groups travelling on the route of concern and these related routes.

Rute sa presedanjem

Explanation:
Koristi se za putovanja na ciljanu destinaciju sa presedanjem u mestu na putu ka ciljanoj destinaciji, radi ekonomičnosti i popunjavanja prevoznog sredstva putnicima.

Example sentence(s):
  • We've decided not to take direct route Prag - New York, but an behind beyond route Prag - Frankfurt - New York because it's less expensive.

uslovna ruta

Explanation:
The fifth freedom allows an airline to carry revenue traffic between foreign countries as a part of services connecting the airline's own country.[17] It is the right to carry passengers from one's own country to a second country, and from that country to a third country (and so on). The 'unofficial' seventh freedom'", is a variation of the fifth freedom and allows international services wholly outside an airline's origin.[6]:31 An example of a fifth freedom traffic right is an Emirates flight in 2004 from Dubai to Brisbane, Australia and onward to Auckland, New Zealand, where tickets can be sold on any sector.[6]:34 Fifth freedom traffic rights are intended to enhance the economic viability of an airline's long haul routes, but tend to be viewed by local airlines and governments as potentially unfair competition to their primary (third and fourth freedom) international traffic rights.[18]:33–34 The negotiations for fifth freedom traffic rights can be lengthy because in practice the approval of at least three different nations is required

Because of this three types of fifth freedom traffic can be distinguished: 'intermediate point', where the right is granted from a third country to a second one between the third and the grantee; 'beyond-point', where the country giving the right allows traffic to continue to third countries; and 'behind-point' or 'anterior-point' where the grantor allows service between other destinations outside of the grantee's country of origin

Reference: intermodal ‘behind and beyond’ routes etc

Reference information:
The majority of intermodal agreements are of the ‘behind and beyond’ route category, in which an airline sells (or puts its code on) a non-offered route, operated by the rail operator to provide connections with its own scheduled services. However, some intermodal agreements cover parallel operations, such as where an airline and a rail operator compete on a given route, but also enter into a code-share agreement which allows the airline to sell rail tickets (with its own flight number).

3.7 The underlying geography of the routes covered by code-share agreements can be
classified into three major types, namely:
Parallel operation on a trunk route - two carriers both operate the same sector (flown airport pair), and each gives its code to the other’s operated flights. An example of this is flights between Paris and Milan, operated by Air France and Alitalia, which have each others’ codes as well as their own. These are sometimes known as “online code-shares” (although this term may be misleading and we have avoided it in this Report).
Unilateral operation on a trunk route - a carrier puts its code on a sector operated by another carrier, but not by itself, and not (necessarily) connecting to one of its own operated flights (for example, British Airways puts its code on Manchester-Chicago, operated by American Airlines; Delta puts its code on Paris-Boston, operated by Air France). These are sometimes known as “network extension code-shares”.
Behind and beyond route (connecting to a trunk route service) – a carrier puts its code on sectors, operated by another carrier, to provide connections with its own operated services. Connecting code-shares generally require the marketing carrier to sell an interline journey, i.e. one involving travel on its own service and then on the service of the partner carrier (and this kind of code-share is there fore sometimes known as an “interline code-share”). The classic example of this sort of code-share is, for example, when British Airways sells a journey from London Heathrow to, say, Albuquerque, via Dallas, with the US domestic sector operated by American Airlines. However, because of the existence of a code-share agreement, they can nevertheless be distinguished from a traditional interline journey, on which passengers simply take connecting flights designated only by the code of the operating carrier.
