četka (četkica) za rezbarenje Explanation: scrimshaw=rezbarija scrimming=rezbariti, rezbarenje http://www.knifeknowhow.com/scrimshaw.htm Let's start by getting the terminology correct ; "scrimshaw" is the artform (noun), "scrimshander" is the artist, and "to scrim" or "scrimming" is the act (verb). Ink is best applied with a fine, soft brush, allowed to dry momentarily, and then wiped off with a damp cloth or kleenex tissue. To successfuly complete a design multiple inkings and scrimming will be required. There are two methods of scrimming ; firstly "scribing" fine lines onto the ivory using a needle or blade in a pencil drawing motion (known as linework), and secondly, "stippling" the ivory with a needle in a tattooing motion. A third option exists, namely, a combination of the two. Reference: http://www.knifeknowhow.com/scrimshaw.htm |
