trestle cross bracing poprečni spreg jarma Explanation: cross bracing = poprečni spreg threstle - ... jaram (drv.), ref. Građevinski rečnik, B. Vukičević http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_bracing In construction, cross bracing is a system utilized to reinforce building structures in which diagonal supports intersect. Cross bracing can increase a building’s capability to withstand seismic activity from an earthquake. Cross bracing is usually seen with two diagonal supports placed in an X shaped manner; these supports compression and tension forces. Depending on the forces, one brace may be in tension while the other is slack. Cross bracing can be applied to any rectangular frame structure, such as chairs and bookshelves. In steel construction, steel cables may be used due to their great resistance to tension (although not resistant at all to compression). The common uses for cross bracing includes bridge (side) supports, along with structural foundations. This method of construction maximizes the weight of the load a structure is able to support.[1] Ovde se govori o cevnim skelama ali terminologija je ista i kod drvenih konstrukcija: http://www.google.rs/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=... 3. Osnovi element svake skele je JARAM/TORANJ – dvije paralelne plohe od sistema štapova, povezane u prostoru. http://www.google.rs/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=... krajnji poprečni spreg (end cross bracing; Endquerverband), Videti i objašnjenje dato ovde: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/5537267 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2014-04-22 07:00:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ovde je reč upotrebi jarmova u izgradnji mostova, ali jarmovi se koriste i u drugim vrstama konstrukca: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trestle A trestle (sometimes tressel) is a rigid frame used as a support, especially referring to a bridge composed of a number of short spans supported by such frames. In the context of trestle bridges, each supporting frame is generally referred to as a bent. Timber and iron trestles were extensively used in the 19th century, the former making up from 1 to 3% of the total length of the average railroad. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2014-04-22 07:15:01 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ovde se jasno vidi na slici 9.11.2, ukrštene dijagonale su spregovi, tj. cross bracings: http://www.google.rs/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=...
