Tekst je iz uredbe EU o sistemu nacionalnih računa. Na jednom mestu se opisuje način vrednovanja stavki u bilansu stanja. Kod finansijskih instrumenata se navodi:

„Market valuation is the key principle for valuing positions (and transactions) in financial instruments. (…) The market value is that at which financial assets are acquired or disposed of (…).
Nominal valuation reflects the sum of funds originally advanced, plus any subsequent advances, less any repayments, plus any accrued interest. Nominal value is not the same as face value.”
Ono što me zbunjuje jeste što se kod nas za nominal value, face value i par value uvek koristi izraz „nominalna vrednost”, pa ne znam kako da rešim ovaj slučaj, gde svakako treba upotrebiti dva različita izraza.
