English term or phrase: bean belt
We purchase our coffee beans all over the world – a lot in Asia, a lot through Africa, and typically northern Africa and Eastern Africa, and then Central and South America is huge. This is the bean belt between the two tropics. And then we look for elevation, so we want farms that are 1000 metres above sea level as a starting point, and that's where it’s going to give you the best quality.
