Ovdje je objašnjenje na engleskom: The method most commonly used in elections in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and many other former British colonies, where the voter puts a mark next to one name in the ballot, and the candidate chosen by the largest number of voters is elected. This method is usually called the "plurality" method, though British literature often calls it the "first-past-the-post" method, likening it to a horse race. Since there are also plurality methods that are not single-member, this method will be termed the "Single Member Plurality" method, abbreviated "SMP". |
