pa evo sad procitah jos malo, i ispada da je u stvari lord govornik predsedavajuci u domu lordova, a leader je neka niza funkcija

evo ovde sam nasao da hrvati leader prevode kao vodja lordova

Više kabinet imena su najavili. Caroline Spelman je okoliš tajnik, Filip Hammond je prijevoz tajnik, Cheryl Gillan je velški tajnik, Owen Paterson je Sjeverna Irska tajnik, Lord Strathclyde je vođa lordova.

a to mi i sad i nije toliko nelogicno jer vidim da postoje titule leader i oppostion leader..

sta znam, sad mi se cini da leader definitivno ne moze da se prevede kao predsedavajuci.. :)

A na linku se i vidi da su Lord Speaker i Leader dve razlicite funkcije. Izvinjavam se sto i na donji komentar odgovaram ovde, nova sam na sajtu, pa se jos snalazim :)

Nekako mi je logicnije da bude predsednik, mada po opisu duznosti ne odgovara nasem sistemu. A posto je tu i Lord Speaker, pre bih rekla da je to predsedavajuci. I da, ne kazem da nije cudno da u Gornjem domu postoji titula predsednika, ali vodja ne zvuci bolje...

House of Lords je Gornji dom britanskog parlamenta. Logično je da Leader bude predsednik, u ovom slučaju predsednica, kao što kod nas postoji funkcija predsednika skupštine.

Zainteresovala me je ova tematika, pa sam malo istraživala:-)
The Lord Speaker bismo mogli prevesti kao "predesedavajući/predsedavajuća".

The Lord Speaker is a role elected internally by Members of the House of Lords. Politically impartial, responsibilities of the Lord Speaker include chairing the Lords debating chamber, offering advice on procedure, and acting as an ambassador for the work of the Lords both at home and abroad. The current Lord Speaker is Baroness D'Souza.
