When reporting converted hardness values, the measured hardness value and hardness scale should be indicated in parenthes as in the following example:

The hardness of tinplate is required to test by Superficial Rockwell hardness tester OSC971UU500 series in HR30T scale with diamond spot raised anvil internationally. Thus the result is written in HR30Tm.
1) When the thickness is below 0.21mm, we select HR15T scale. Then we convert the value into HR30T scale.
2) When the thickness is between 0.21mm and 0.55mm, we select HR30T scale and diamond spot raised anvil.
Thus we get value in HR30Tm directly. 3) When the thickness is above 0.55mm, we select HR45T scale. Then we convert the value into HR30T scale.
