There are 2 main load supply lines from the low-voltage DC network:
1. Line X21, originating from the Kc contactor output. Supplies the main loads for the train once the Kc contactor is closed.
2. Line X22, originating from a point prior to the Kc contactor, which enables a series of loads to be supplied without closing the Kc contactor.
We can distinguish between 2 situations:
• The battery charger is operating: the battery charger permanently supplies line X22 and, when the Kc contactor is closed, also line X21.
• The battery charger is not operating: line X22 is permanently supplied by the battery, via the anti-return diode. When the Kc contactor is closed, line X21 is also supplied by the battery.
