zid ispod donje aut linije Explanation: ili u vašem kontekstu: na prednjem zidu ne postoji prostor između poda i donje aut linije, ili: ne postoji donja aut linija. Evo i jednog gorisnog linka: http://www.squash.co.yu/pravila.php Loptica je dobro vraćena, tj. udarac je dobar ukoliko se loptica vrati pravilno pre drugog udarca o pod, loptica udari prednji zid iznad donje aut linije, a ispod gornje aut linije bez prethodnog odbitka o protivnika Taj deo zida ne mora uopšte biti od metala: http://www.us-squash.org/howandwhere/squashglossary.html TIN Situated between the board and the floor covering the full width of the court and constructed in such a manner as to make a distinctive noise when struck by the ball. http://www.victoriansquash.com.au/HowToPlay.htm During the subsequent rally the ball must hit the wall between the out of court line and the bottom line (‘tin’).

The floor and wall markings differ slightly from the 'International' court and the tin is lower, at 15 inches (38 cm) high. However, hardball squash was replaced by softball in America as the standard version of squash and has since almost completely died out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squash_(sport) Pogledajte i ovu sliku, pa će vam sve biti jasno: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Squash_Court.svg -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 38 mins (2008-05-10 19:17:06 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- ili: limena ploča/traka na prednjem zidu (imajući u vidu da postoje prednji i bočni [pravi] zid, a zadnji i drugi bočni su stakleni) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 hrs (2008-05-11 10:47:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Onih par puta što sam gledao skvoš na televiziji, sećam se da je dobro odzvanjalo kad loptica udari u taj deo i da se loptica brzo zaustavljala. Evo linka: The part that takes more getting used to is the “tin”, the service line, and the “out” line. The tin is, literally, a piece of metal that runs across the bottom of the front wall. It’s OB. This is good for two reasons: First, anything hit that low could never be returned. Second, it eliminates the problem in racquetball when you have to rely on the “squeak” to know if the ball hit the floor first or the wall first. When a ball hits the tin you know it. http://ecmarchitect.com/archives/2006/03/12/661 Squash: Introduction to the Court and the Ball … At the bottom you will find a board manufactured from metal and known as the tin. The ball is deemed to be out when it strikes the tin, the material providing an audible indication of this. http://www.racketgames.co.uk/Introductiontothecourtandthebal... No, tonight, Pam was too hungry, and Isabelle too imprecise, and the French exquisite drop shots could find nothing but the cold metal of the tin. http://www.squashsite.co.uk/national_league_4_fram.htm tin noun 5. Squash. telltale (def. 8). http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tin telltale noun 8. Squash. a narrow piece of metal across the front wall of a court, parallel to and extending 17 inches (43.2 cm) above the base: a ball striking this is an out. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=telltale -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 hrs (2008-05-11 10:58:17 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "tin," an out-of-play strip of metal, at the front which contrasts to the English (international) court which is 21.5 ft. wide with a 19 in. "tin" at the front (Wallburton no date). http://www.geography.ccsu.edu/harmonj/atlas/squash.htm U knjizi „Sportovi – vizuelna enciklopedija“ koju je nedavno izdao Kreativni centar, dve strane posvećene su skvošu i deo o kome govorimo je nazvan „ploča i lim“ uz opis „nisu deo površine za igru“ (strana 293). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 hrs (2008-05-11 11:19:30 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- But the biggest difference is "the tin," a tiny metal border at the base of the front wall. It is 19 inches tall for squash amateurs and 17 inches tall for the pros. If an amateur's shot strikes it, he loses the serve. If a pro's shot hits it, he loses a point. Racquetball has no tin. http://www.metrosquash.org/articles/Article-DailySouthtown01... Space does not allow me to explain such squash terms as "nick" and "boast," or why there is a metal tin 19 inches high on the front court. http://peoriadesignweb.com/squash/welcome/pj_star/pj_star.ht... MEDIA INFORMATION PACKAGE SQUASH … At the base of the front wall is a strip of metal 19” high running the complete width of the court. This is the “Tin” which serves the same role as the net in tennis. Any ball which hits the Tin is out of play. http://www.canadagames.ca/Images/Games/2007 Media Packages/F... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 hrs (2008-05-11 11:20:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Most diabolical of all the features of a squash court is the telltale, or tin - a strip of metal 17 inches high on the front wall, beneath which shots may not be hit. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9B0DE2D7103BF... On the front wall of a Squash court there is a, ‘metal telltale’, commonly called, ‘the tin’ which is 19 inches high. The ball must always hit the front wall above the ‘tin’, however not directly, in other words it can hit the side wall or even the back wall before the front wall and above the ‘tin’. The noise of the ball hitting the tin is enough to prevent any arguments !! http://www.racquetball-instruction.net/squash_leagues.php |
