Please, could somebody clarify what kind of drawing is it? The source might also be a wrong translation.
Context:
"For each component, a mapped drawing needs to be established. This
guides the supplier in carrying out their work. The drawings do indeed
define the zones of the part/component for which certain aesthetic
characteristics do apply. Engineering is responsible for drafting, updating,
modifying the mapping of the drawings and aligning with the
customers requirements for any specific project."
