Double Household (translation from German "doppelter Haushalt") means when somebody is living in two households. Explanation: Somebody has a job far away from his home and is using other accommodation in the place of his employment (renting a house, living in a hotel etc.). He is living in both households, in the "job-household" when he staying in the place of his job, and in the "home-household", when he is at home (during weekends for example). Such situation is deductible from tax base. It includes travel expenses, costs for renting, hotels etc.
