It was explained on TV during the Nordic skiing World Championship. For instance, there is a cross-country skiing race in Asia. If you win this race, you usually get 50 points into the World Cup ranking. But if for example Dario Cologna (current World Cup leader) takes part in that competition, the points awarded to the winner of this race are increased. |
