En automoción, si "timing chain" = cadena de la distribución, "timing rotor" podría ser "rotor de la distribución", pero he encontrado más bien "rotor del distribuidor".

neutral  Tomás Cano Binder, BA, CT: Hm... No estoy muy seguro de esta opción. En el texto de referencia no habla para nada de ignición, sino que dice que el rotor está en el árbol de levas, no en el distribuidor o delco. ¿Lo podrías comprobar de nuevo?
