Stand es un término técnico que se traduce como "masa" o "rodal". Hablando en un sentido más general, creo que es mejor utilizar masa. En este caso son masas de bambú.

agree  antoniosvejk: yo diría masas de bambú, en plural. En efecto es la que más se ajusta. Bosque es una palabra muy genérica, por lo que no es una buena traducción para "stand" que es un término técnico
