English term or phrase: Guavaberry
This excerpt is from an article in a tourism guide about this Caribbean fruit. It was originally written in French and then translated into English (it's the same word). What do you call this fruit in your country? I'm looking for a standard translation used in most, if not all, Spanish-speaking countries.

"Guavaberry is made into jams, juices, breads, tarts and cakes, and used as a garnish, but its most popular use, by far, is for guavaberry liqueur."

Aunque esta pertenece a "Eugenia jambolana" y no a "Myrciaria floribunda" ni "Eugenia Floribunda", no sé si te puede servir. Estoy de acuerdo con las observaciones anteriores de Antonio Tomás.

Saludos,
Marta

Perdón, no con Antonio Tomás sino con Iván Luciano: dejarlo en inglés

Hay muchas frutas con características similares, pero ninguna es exacta. He optado por dejarla en inglés y explicarla. ¡Muchas gracias!
