El contexto es la transformación de plantas con transgenes para suprimir genes de fertilidad dominantes.

"Of X transformation events comprising hpRNA specific for the promotor X, Y produced T0 plantas of either the breaker (non-viable pollen) o shedder phenotype (male fertile but with a small amount of viable pollen)".

Entiendo que "shedder" puede ser portador pero no encuentro la traducción para "breaker".
