(antiguamente, diploma nacional con carga lectiva mínima de180 créditos) Explanation: The new BTEC grading system works like this: Each course type has a total amount of credit that is spread out over multiple modules (a module may be worth 5, 10 or 20 credits). For example, a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma course has 180 credits. You then get a certain amount of points for each module you pass. The amount of points you get for passing a module depends on which grade you achieved for said module(Pass, Merit, Distinction). The awarded points for each modules are then added up to give a BTEC score.
