What would be the equivalent of Sr. in Spanish in:

Sr. Teresia Wamuyu Wachira, lecturer in Peace and Conflict Studies at St. Paul’s University, Nairobi.

I am not sure what it refers to either, I looked it up on http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/SR,
yet I can't find the equivalent.

Does anyone know?

https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monja
