la resina se integra formando un compuesto Explanation: Hello Steven, from what I understand from the context, the sentence means that when applying the composite (resina (compuesta)) it kind of melts with the initial component giving a compound (mix of the composite and initial component heterogeneously by means of chemical bonds giving a stronger compound) In Spain we use both terms "resina" and "composite" but I leave to your discretion to use the most frequently used in México.
