scaling vegetation

Although John is right in that scaling could mean what he says, plants loosing their bark, it is more frequent in relatively big trees and I can't see someone using a *lawnmower* to cut down a tree or to clean the scaling bark.<hr>
Then again I can't neither imagine someone picking up the lawnmower to trim down vines and other climbing plants.
<hr>Additionally, there is a plant insect called *scale*

But based in the rest of the recommendation I am inclined to think it is more Lorena's way that John's.

You may be totally right... "vegetación trepadora"? But then, the danger may lie on the fact that you don't want your hedger hitting the wall or the fence were the scaling plants are glowing?
Oh, just realize Javier is talking about a "lawn mower", not a "hedger"...
I take that the "cortacésped" should not be used trying to "scale" with the vegetation... (?)

of scaling as climbing, as in climbing plants (plantas trepadoras). Don't know if that makes sense :-)
