Se trata de un término de un glosario de SIG (Sistemas de información geográfica). ¿Alguien sabe si hay una traducción establecida en español? Lo único que he visto es un "Método de vereda", pero no creo que tenga que ver con esto.

[network analysis] In network analysis, a network location property that models a path for approaching a stop from a specific side based on edge direction. For example, a school bus must approach a school from its door side so that students exiting the bus will not have to cross the street. There are three types of curb approaches: left, right, or both.

There are three types of curb approaches: left, right, or both

Hay tres métodos de aproximación a la banqueta: izquierda, derecha, o ambos

Aproximarse lo más posible a la banqueta para que los niños no tengan que cruzar la calle al bajar del autobús
