I would like to know the best translation of this phrase from American English into Latin American Spanish. It's a translation about a construction and financial meeting here in The US. Translators from Spain ,feel free to send us the equivalent in European Spanish.

Is okay to translate it as ajustador de seguro o ajustador de la aseguradora?

Here is the full paragraph:

BP Elevator came out and assed the water damaged to the car and submitted a proposal for $29000 Thousand Dollars to correct the damages to the elevator. Subsequently a claim was filed with the insurance company and an adjuster was sent out to assess the damaged elevator.

En la terminología (pólizas, tratados, juicios,etc) y en el mercado la acepción de mayor uso es ajustador. Las propuestas de José y Neil son válidas como traducciones, pero el mercado usa 'ajustador'. Liquidador ha caído en desuso.
