proliferación ósea / labiación

Explanation:

"In Wallett's study, she examined 1,119 distal phalanx (P3, or coffin bone) fossils from collections at the American Museum of Natural History, the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History, and the University of Florida's Museum of Natural History. [...] She examined each phalanx for signs consistent with chronic laminitis, including exostosis (new bony growth), vascular proliferation (increase in blood vessel openings in the bone), solar border proliferation/lipping, osteolysis (dissolving of bone), cortex thinning, and medullary (bone marrow) density loss."
https://thehorse.com/148360/fossil-evidence-of-laminitis-in-...

http://cybertesis.uach.cl/tesis/uach/2008/fvm539e/doc/fvm539...

"lipping
The formation of a liplike structure, as at the articular end of a bone in osteoarthritis."
https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/lipping

Se llaman "osteófitos":
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteofito

Chronic laminitis
Laminitis is considered chronic after 48 hours of lameness or
after rotation and/or sinking of the pedal bone (51). This displacement
may occur as early as 3 hours after disease onset
and may vary from mild to severe (25). Rotation may result
in separation of the hoof wall and bulging of the sole dorsal
to the apex of the frog, the latter indicating that the pedal
bone is beginning to penetrate the sole. ***Chronic rotation
causes lipping of the tip of the pedal bone ***which becomes
obvious after 4 to 6 weeks. Sinking causes separation and infolding
of the coronary band over the extensor process region.

See page 4, Figure 2. Lateromedial radiograph of the forefoot of a Warmblood.
Rotation of the pedal bone, a radiolucent defect within the hoof wall, and
**lipping** of the dorsal aspect of the distal border of the pedal bone are
visible (courtesy of prof. K.J. Dik).
