Connotaciones estas que creo que van muy bien con el sentido primario y metafórico de "bolt".

Bueno, acabo de buscar un poco de contexto en Google, y la verdad es que lo de "amarrar" creo que funcionaría mejor, si se trata del texto de "Why Great Leaders Don't Take Yes for an Answer:". O sea, la connotación un poquito más negativa o "controladora"... "El cliente en casa y con la pata quebrada"...
