English term or phrase: Elevated blood glucose level on admission
Buenas tardes,

Contextos:
- Beck et al found that elevated blood glucose level on admission is associated with increased short-term mortality in nondiabetic patients presenting with a first acute myocardial infarction.
- [...] among 1,631 nondiabetic acute myocardial infarction patients with admission glucose level more than 152 mg/dL (top quartile), [...].

Muchas gracias.

elevated blood glucose level on admission
hiperglucemia al ingreso

Explanation:

"An elevated blood glucose level is defined as excess blood sugar in the blood, and medically known as hyperglycemia."
