English term or phrase: Reversed wall motion
Buenas,

El contexto es este: Inflammation of the endocardial surfaces and stasis of blood flow associated with regional akinesis (no wall motion) or dyskinesis (abnormal, passively reversed wall motion) may lead to the formation of ventricular mural thrombi, which have the potential to embolize.

Muchas gracias.

reversed wall motion
movimiento paradójico de la pared

Explanation:

Wall motion can be determined from the end-diastolic and end-systolic silhouettes. It may show:

normal motion = normal kinesis
less than normal motion = hypokinesis
greater than normal motion = hyperkinesis
no motion = akinesis
reverse or paradoxical motion = dyskinesis (locally or globally).

Note: The heart wall may be said to display normal kinesis, hypokinesis, hyperkinesis, akinesis (no motion), dyskinesis (paradoxical wall motion).
