English term or phrase: stinging chest pain
Translating a health survey for a business that offers comprehensive health screening. One of the questions reads:

"Have you ever experienced stinging chest pain during exercise?"

I've found 'dolor de pecho' on lots of websites, but at least to me it sounds ambiguous because it could be interpreted as 'breast pain'. But maybe I'm just overthinking it. Any ideas?

Al menos en España, no es un término ambiguo. "Breast pain" lo traduciríamos como "dolor en los pechos" o "dolor en un pecho".

Estoy de acuerdo con Interestela en que el término no es ambiguo en el 99% de los casos, ya que el contexto indica claramente a qué nos referimos. Sin embargo, si crees que el contexto que tienes es insuficiente o quieres una alternativa a "dolor de pecho", puedes usar "dolor torácico", que es el término propuesto por, entre otros, el Medline.
