You have to make the determination, not me as to what best suits your context, I believe? I don't have the text, you have it. What I am saying is that I found a few sources that say "delgada" (thin), but "potente" equally implies to me that it is a powerful light beam despite being thin, so it is for you, I believe, to make that determination!
