English term or phrase: tar piss
Hi there,

the problem words appear in the following sentence from a list: "the scent of some tar product, such as the scent of ***tar piss*** or pit tar".

I think it is the result of tar fractionation and apparently is the first fraction that is obtained. But what is 'tar piss' in Spanish (European)??

Many thanks, David

Notes to answerer
Asker: Gracias Patricia. Earth pitch; a soft, black bitumen of the consistence of tar, and of a strong smell. It is inflammable, and intermediate between petroleum and asphalt.
