Hay mucha variedad regional en el nombre de la carne. En el Rio de la Plata "bife" es un corte mientras "carne" es un término más general. En el caso de la pregunta asumí que es un bife porque los bifes puede ser con o sin hueso. http://www.google.com/search?q=bife&safe=off&client=safari&r...

No obstante, si se trata de otro corte que no sea el bife, usaría "carne", o tal vez "carne bovina" (En el Río de la Plata, carne es bovina por default, se especifica si es de otro tipo.)
