In the use of the storage device, the storage device cover is unfolded to the open position as shown in Fig. 1 so that one or more sheet items may be inserted onto the posts to register the sheet items relativo to the storage device cover, The tongue members are folded at living hinges to be brought into engagement with the posts to form the binder straps. At this point, the sheet items are free to travel on the binder straps from a first position lying parallel with the rear panel to a second position lying parallel with the front panel.

Por el funcionamiento que se describe propongo "bridas de encuadernación", o sea, bridas que se usan para el fin de apilar las hojas perforadas. No creo que luego las bridas se queden en el paquete de papel, sino que seguramente se retiren una vez conseguida la pila de hojas cortadas.

A la vista de la nueva información, sigo pensando que "bridas de encuadernación" es adecuado, incluso si las bridas quedan en la propia encuadernación en el producto final.

Explanation:
Por el funcionamiento que se describe propongo "bridas de encuadernación", o sea, bridas que se usan para el fin de apilar las hojas perforadas. No creo que luego las bridas se queden en el paquete de papel, sino que seguramente se retiren una vez conseguida la pila de hojas cortadas.
