No tengo ni idea qué es "TC" en este caso. Supongo que clear es transparente, pero necesitaría saber qué es TC para poder decidirlo.

Por lo que he visto, estos productos de los que estamos hablando se venden sin marca. Las etiquetas presumiblemente llevan un bonito diseño pero les falta la marca y otros datos, algo similar a esto: http://www.sks-bottle.com/LabelPDF/spa_spf_spray.pdf . Para imprimirlas (antes de adherirlas), importan estas ventajas:

• Clear topcoat designed to enhance printability with water-based and UV flexographic inks and UV screen inks. ( http://www.na.fasson.com/frna/frnasite.nsf/imagebak/PSCompon... y luego hacer clic en el iconito)

Y aquí tienes la abreviatura (también es una capa protectora, excepto que no se trata de etiquetas):

• Optional clear topcoat (TC) is recommended to maintain appearance of metallic finishes in exterior applications. ( http://www.luraline.com/new/pdf/Genera_Catalog_CD.pdf ) Hay muchas otras descripciones similares (busca "topcoated").
