English term or phrase: reflective light meter
Exposure can be a tricky thing and the reason that is that sometimes, especially for us as wedding photographers who are always running around and shooting in all these different lighting situations; the reason our camera struggles a little bit especially when it's on any kind of auto mode is because the camera uses a reflective light meter and it's looking at whatever light is bouncing off of and it's reading that instead of reading light like a hand held light meter does.

agree  JohnMcDove: Yo encuentro 37 hits en Google. Y me parece mejor. / Y... ;-)) ¡Saludos y buen finde! :-)

-> Gracias John!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_meter
