Explanation:
Image bearers reffers to the pious, in the middle ages, when they would walk at nights mostly, all grouped in secret societies, hooded hats, and all of them would be image bearers, they carried with them images of god, or any particular saint, they particularly were devoted to. this frase apprently relates to the fact that the image bearers were in fact as devoted as to carry the particular image, but were not really involved spiritually to this particular deity.

Translation: No nos podemos identificar como falsos cargueros de andas, diferente al padre de las Mentiras.

es decir : que no serian diferentes al padre de las mentiras que es un falso proselitista religioso.
