English term or phrase: persistent cookie
According to my own research "persistent cookie" is simply "cookie" in Swedish, whereas a usual "cookie" is a "session cookie" in Swedish (and in English, of course).

But because of the peculiarity of my source text, i would like to use "(a discriptive attribute) + cookie" alternative, if there is any.

For reference:

persistent cookie

Also called a permanent cookie, or a stored cookie, a cookie that is stored on a user’s hard drive until it expires (persistent cookies are set with expiration dates) or until the user deletes the cookie. Persistent cookies are used to collect identifying information about the user, such as Web surfing behavior or user preferences for a specific Web site.

session cookie

Also called a transient cookie, a cookie that is erased when the user closes the Web browser. The session cookie is stored in temporary memory and is not retained after the browser is closed. Session cookies do not collect information from the user’s computer. They typically will store information in the form of a session identification that does not personally identify the user.

TIA!

permanent cookie
Explanation:
Although "kaka" isn't wrong and perhaps the official term, I am still quite convinced that "cookie" is a far more common translation of the English "cookie" than "kaka". Hence, I think that the Swedish translation you are looking for is "permanent cookie". I would use "permanent cookie" myself.

Thank you all! Both answers are correct, I believe. I understand Sven's concern about this svengelska issue. The points are going to Vanja, because I eventually used "ccokie" in my translation. This is the most fair solution, when both suggestions are equally good and correct. Thank you once again!

permanent kaka

Explanation:
gives a lot of google hits from rather autoritative sources. even if "cookie" is used a lot in Swedish, "kaka" is the official term

disagree  Sven Petersson: Ful svengelska.

-> Det må vara hänt att en del upplever att det är ful svengelska, men jag upplever det som att cookie numera är något som används för jämnan i svenskan. Ett låneord som har fått fotfäste så att säga. Men, återigen, "permanent kaka" är inte fel.
