English term or phrase: not to be confused with
Hi,

How do you say “not to be confused with”?

E.g. “Thomas More, not to be confused with Thomas Moore”

It is easy to confuse the two as their names are almost identical, but the first was a sixteenth-century religious man put to death by King Henry VIII, while the second was a nineteenth century Irish poet (actually Ireland’s national poet).

Best wishes, and many thanks,

Simon
