I don't want the Turkish for a doll which doesn't do anything (i.e . a plastic figurine with movable parts like a non-moving Barbie doll) but one which dances and sings or walks. Here is an example from an advert:-
'The Amazing Singing Spiderman - Dancing Arm Action Doll' or
'RARE Senator Hillary Clinton Singing Dancing-Doll'.
I suppose that in Turkey there may be such a thing as a dancing dervish action doll/figurine. I know that in the UK there was available for a while a dancing dervish-style barbie doll. It is now a valuable collector's item.

In the UK many do not realise that mevlevi dancing is a Sufi method of attaining one-ness with Allah.
It is controversial in mainstream Islam but certainly not merely some form of weird Oriental dancing.
