It ıs definde in Tırkisk as :-
Kayakçıların helikopterle dağ zirvelerine götürüldüğü tatil şekli. Teleferikleri olmayan bölgeler için açık avantajı vardır.
Is there a more compact term apart from merely using the English term or giving a lengthy but diffuse definition?

Eren has my points since she has actually participated in heli skiing! Clearly, heli skiing is the word that is used although Recep's helikopter hayağı is more Turkish rather than an English loan. Salih's note about 'heli skiing sounding like the skier is fastened to the helicopter ' is valid. That, however, is not the way that languages work, for example 'free range eggs' means 'eggs that have been laid by free range hens' & 'you need a blind dog' means 'you who are blind need a special dog' is an example of what is known as the constructio praegnans i.e. a form of words whose sense leaves the full meaning to be understood by the reader. 'Free range eggs means 'eggs laid by free range hens'. Thanks to all!

Explanation:
Helikopter kayağı tanımına katılmam mümkün değil zira "sanki kayak sporunun helikoptere bağlı olarak yapıldığı" anlamını çağrıştırıyor.
