I really don't have any expert knowledge about this one, however I just see the usage "yabana gönderme" on Google. Maybe you can check that out.

Yes, this term seems to be unique to the Aboriginal culture and has no accepted equivalent in Turkish anyone knows of. Any suggestions would probably be inventions. But perhaps if you look into Turkish Wikipedia or newspaper or magazine articles about Aboriginies you may find it translated into something.

True, although in this case, the concept is specific to a single region/culture, so since it is a local custom, it is only natural that other cultures simply cannot be... Um... Arsed to come up with an equivalent.

As for the question's category, I believe PRO makes more sense.

Should I submit it therefore as a Pro entry? The trouble is that English is so dominant that many languages can't be bothered to make their own equivalents. Hence the fact that they simply employ the English term.

I believe the term "non-PRO" is slightly misleading. When you click on "Vote PRO", this is what you get:
"Are you sure that this question could not be answered by any bilingual person without the aid of a dictionary?"

This is definitely not the case here.

As for the term itself, it is way too specific. Also, as far as I can tell, it is used as-is in at least two other languages, namely German and Italian.
