English term or phrase: because of ISIS
The sentence that I'm trying to translate is 'my wife is scared to travel to Turkey by air because of ISIS'. This is unfortunately true but I don't know what the Turkish is for the so-called Islamic state which we call ISIS. I love Turkey & am put out because I want to go to Turkey & I have a wife & sister-in-law who don't like air travel, let alone travel by air to a country now branded by some in the West as 'dangerous'.
