Explanation:
Tap is basically used for touch systems like pads or cell phones in which we have to touch screen for selection so i think اُنگلی ماریں یا اُنگلی پھیریں will be better

agree  Qudsia Lone: The only problem I see with use of انگلی (finger) is that often a stylus is used instead of fingers. It does convey the intended meaning nicely.

If space is limited, transliteration should probably be used. If it's a manual that allows some explanation, placing either the translation or transliteration in brackets would help with directions, for example:
