English term or phrase: locavore
Definition from Wikipedia:
A locavore is someone who eats food grown or produced locally or within a certain radius such as 50, 100, or 150 miles (240 km). The locavore movement encourages consumers to buy from farmers’ markets or even to produce their own food, with the argument that fresh, local products are more nutritious and taste better. Locally grown food is an environmentally friendly means of obtaining food, since supermarkets that import their food use more fossil fuels and non-renewable resources.

Example sentence(s):
  • The first step to being a locavore is to determine what local means for you. This is an individual decision that should feel comfortable for you and your family. Many locavores start by trying to eat within a 100-mile radius from their homes and then adjust where necessary, sometimes encompassing an area as large as an entire state or region. • More and more people are declaring themselves locavores—meaning they’ll only eat and cook with ingredients grown locally (typically within a hundred-mile radius). The movement was born of a desire to support local producers and to reject foods shipped in from thousands of miles away on trucks and planes that deplete fossil fuels. American Express Publishing Corporation
  • One of my hopes in becoming a locavore was that it would help me lose weight. After all, nutrition experts say that, instead of eating french fries, hamburgers, shakes, cookies, candy, chips, etc, we should be eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. That's pretty much exactly what happens when you become a locavore. Springfield Locavore

No  Irshad Muhammad: The translation given in the above cited dictionary link is not the same as the term has been defined in other source, Wikepedia for example. So it needs more discussion to conclude the final translation. Ramesh attempt is appreciable.

  -> Khor-i-Maqami, is meant here; I thought it would convey the meaning. Since, we don't have a readymade term. We could as well say Khor-i-Maqami Ajnas. But I think Maqami is sufficent to convey local production. Khor conveys eating [the Ajnas/edibles].

مقامی اشیاء خور

Definition from own experience or research:
مقامی اشیاء خور اُسے کہتے ہیں جو صرف اپنے گرد و نواح کے علاقے، مثلا اپنے گاؤں، قصبے، شہر یا صوبے کی پیدا کردہ اشیائے خوردنی کھا کر ہی گزارہ کرے اور دوسرے علاقوں کی درآمد شدہ اشیاء خرید کر نہ کھائے۔

Example sentence(s):
  • حامد ایک مقامی اشیاء خور ہے، وہ صرف اپنے گاؤں میں اگائی گئی سبزی اور اناج کھاتا ہے اور اپنے گاؤں کے جانوروں کا ہی دودھ، مکھن اور گوشت استعمال کرتا ہے۔ - wikipedia.org

Explanation:
I agree with Mr. Ramesh Bhatt, the term does not exist in Urdu as such, so reference has to be given for terms such as "carnivore" (i.e. گوشت خور), or "herbivore" (i.e. نباتات خور) to describe the usage of "vore" in "locovore." (Please see additional headings of نباتات خور, آدم خور and کرم خور listed below, on the quoted wikipedia page.)

"Loco" refers to "Local" (i.e. مقامی).

But I believe using the word "مقامی" alone, sounds unsettling and confusing.
