نگہداشت is a very good word, but seems to place too much importance to the role of 'day cares' or 'child care' institutes. نگہداشت sounds more like 'rearing' or 'raising' the child, rather than taking care of the child for a few hours in the day. If it's used in Pakistan for such facilities, than I guess it is a better translation, but I haven't heard of it myself, so have used دیکھ بھال instead.
