Now, it is inferred that they can choose the commands from a user interface. But the author wishes to reassure the reader that it is still the exact same underlying command that is executed - ie the one that users would call themselves. "Yourself" is used to emphasise that the user used to have to do it. So, call is used here in the sense of a call to a routine - in other words run, use or execute. |
